Generally speaking, where manufacturers refer to "one size" the costumes tend to fit between a dress size 10 to 14. One size "gown" styles (i.e. a monk costume) or unisex ranges will allow for larger sizes. Children's costumes tend to have a number of different sizing guidelines.
